Eitz Chaim Schools of Toronto needed to inspire their community to support the construction of a new building. Rather than focus on justification, we gave the community a powerful vision of their future.

The result? A campaign that raised $4 million from donors and an additional $8 million from major supporters.

Slow burns burn slow

“Building on Purpose” evokes meanings that may not be immediately evident; it is a slow burn, and the great thing about slow burns is that they don’t burn out quickly.

The theme encapsulates the dual focus of the project: the construction of a new campus and the nurturing of children’s potential. The phrase evokes both the physical act of building and the metaphorical building of students’ futures, with an emphasis on intentionality and care. By highlighting both the purpose of the new facility and the school’s commitment to education, the messaging inspired lasting emotional connections with donors and supporters.

The campaign’s logo combined bold shades of blue and gray with building blocks, symbolizing both the new facility and the school’s role in shaping young minds. These visuals underscored the campaign’s core message while aligning with Eitz Chaim’s mission of creating a strong foundation for growth.

The campaign video brought “Building on Purpose” to life. Narrated by a dedicated teacher, it offered an authentic glimpse into the students’ lives, showcasing the school’s vibrancy and the transformative impact the new building would have. Through powerful imagery of students in action and the renovations’ tangible benefits, the video inspired donors by merging emotional appeal with a clear, compelling vision for the future.
